Lundie was born and raised in Raleigh, North Carolina. In fact, Lundie the sixth generation to be raised here. You could say she has some pretty strong roots - the soil is just that good!
Lundie first began working at the age for 14 at McDonald's. She graduated from NC State University hoping to become a marriage counselor - we all know how that story ends, but she does find the skills useful in some of her photo sessions!
In 1991, Lundie opened Lundie's Photography, Inc., with a studio at South Hills Mall in Cary, North Carolina. In 1993, Lundie's Photography launched its Millbrook Road studio in Raleigh. A few short years later, she opened a studio in Wilmington, North Carolina and finally in 1999, Lundie's Photography opened a studio in Garner.
In 1998, I was the recipient of the President's Award with the highest points on prints for a first time entry from the Professional Photographers of North Carolina (PPNC). The award can only be won once in a lifetime and I was very honored to receive such a recognition. In 2012 and 2013, Lundie's Photography won the Cary Maggie Award for Best Event Photography.
Lundie have a passion for photography. Her goal is to capture each of her subjects' personality and connect with them on a much deeper level. By being able to read people (remember marriage counseling?) she is able to capture much more than just an image on paper.
When Lundie doesn't have a camera in hand, which is rare, she love playing with her dogs and spending time with her husband on their farm in South Raleigh.
